I wouldn't purposefully subject my daughters to that BS. I have missed the Church in some ways, and certainly the blessings of a temple marriage. And I never found that "good Mormon girl". We have been married for nearly 28 years and yes I went to parents evening, open days, Christmas play, sports days alone Because of the long hours, it was hard for me to build a career outside the home, I have built one working from home, but was not easy as I do everything that has to do with our family life even when we go on holiday the only thing Dr know is where we are going. Don't get her hopes up too much - in return ask her to do something to research your views. If we can say them together, great; if not. I went to BYU. Honestly, it isn't her fault. I can honestly say I wish he stayed were he was it has been a long road.
Mormon decried it was all a lie, an anti mormon lie. I was thinking about this last night after listening to Radio West. In fact, the church is designed to help people come unto Christ, who is the only one who can change our hearts and help us overcome ourselves to come back to him. In the interfaith marriages that work where one is LDS and the other is not religious, it only works out when the LDS partner is not fully a believer anymore. But I could make it very romantic indeed. Marriage is unbelievably amazing and indescribably painful; I have been at it for 28 years with my soul mate. An interfaith marriage can be done well or disastrously, or even only being made up as you go. You can't reason with fanatics, and you got one. Also, if you have girls, you must realize that they are second class citizens in the church and the church will reinforce this idea.
