I joined SportsFilter on January 29, 2002. That's more than 5 years ago, damn it. I'm user #23, which means I'm supposed to be some kind of old, wise man. I'm not. But I do implore people to ignore the trolls quite often.

You'll mostly see me in threads about baseball, hockey, auto racing, tennis and cycling. I am also active in fantasy leagues, especially in hockey, which I've won once. I have created Project Confidence, an online confidence pool manager frequently used by SportsFilter Members to create confidence pools (duh!).

Personal
I am a tall and scrawny man located in Montreal. I'm getting older, but I still look like a kid. I like:
- Music: a lot of different things
- Film: from Godard to the Farrelly brothers
- Sports: baseball, auto racing, hockey, tennis, biking
- Cars: BMW, Lotus, other light and (relatively) cheap sports cars
- Technology: Mac and Unix, Web development, databases
