About Me
I'm Irish. Female. Live and work in Dublin. And hate filling in these about me sections. I've been a sportsfilter member since the end of May 2006. That's almost a whole year now.
Supporter of
rugby
I'm a huge rugby fan. Mainly the national team, and was lucky enough to get a ticket to the first ever rugby match in Croke Park. Unlucky in that we lost though. As I sorta come from Sligo I'll cheer on Connacht in the provincial game. They never win anything, and I've spent numerous summers with relations in Tipperary and Limerick so I suppport Munster too. And I was born in Dublin, and live here, so I like it when Leinster do well too.
football
Football-wise I'm an Aston Villa fan. And I have no idea why as no one else in my family is, they are all either Liverpool or Man U fans. I simply am.
other
I go to the Dublin Horse Show every year, and am a showjumping fan. I've never competed, but I used to ride, and love horses.
I also support Sligo in GAA, but we never win anything, so each year I piggyback on another county. I usually manage to jinx them.
Apart from that I enjoy most sports, apart from Basketball and Golf which I've taken agin

I have a blog, and a site devoted to Irish sports news. I'll listen to all sorts of music and read a lot of books. I also visit the cinema around once a week.
